Attached is the card for James Malone with Malone’s Tilapia Harvesting. He has been granted permission to work on the CDD owned ponds to remove these fish and will begin early next week. He will use netting from boats and sometimes from banks. This pond servicing does not have an end date per se. I have requested that he focus his efforts initially on those ponds with easy access from common areas and to avoid residences where possible. This way, people can get used to seeing him out there.

Tilapia is an invasive species of fish and it is good to get them out of the ponds. If you think it best, you might want to send something out to your residents explaining that this activity will be on-going and that Mr. Malone is approved to perform this service.
